Video Service Franchises
§ 7.02.010 — State authority [City of AI, ME]
Video service is franchised at the state level under 30-A M.R.S. § 3008. The city may impose a franchise fee of up to 5% of gross revenues and shall receive PEG access channels and capital support.
§ 7.02.020 — Customer protection [City of AI, ME]
Video service providers shall comply with the customer service standards of the Maine Public Utilities Commission and shall maintain a local customer service phone line answered 24 hours.
§ 7.02.030 — Right-of-way coordination [City of AI, ME]
Use of the city's right-of-way is governed by Title 12 and the city's master right-of-way agreement.
